Whew, it’s finally officially spring! Here’s a sneak peek and “spring-like” image of what I was working on this weekend…

I love that even scraps can be beautiful. I have a hard time throwing away the remainders. What are these scraps from? Well, let’s just say it’s got something to do with invitations coming up…
Happy Spring!
{ PS. yuck, I need a new camera, don’t I? }

New from the Upon a Fold shop, this illustrated mountain memo will make a statement with whatever your message may be. Write the message then fold inwards to create your own mountain memo. I’d take a message from a mountain; especially with its soft watercolors which draws my eye in immediately. It could possibly even be a fun way for guests to sign at a wedding!

I’ve been seeing a lot of 2011 calendar debuts (or sneak peeks) lately so I’ll give you a little sneak peek of what I’ve been finding so far.
This folded paper animal calendar from Kate’s Paperie really caught my eye:
(There is even a bear!)
A seasonal produce calendar letterpress printed by Felt & Wire is a simple but bold, colorful display for your kitchen.
Flora and Fauna Press created a beautiful outdoor scene for a one piece calendar — I love the pops of color and there’s so much to look at throughout the year. {found via Oh So Beautiful Paper}
Has anyone found 2011 calendars that has caught their eye yet?

I found this idea through The Girl in the Pink Wedding Dress and absolutely thought it was gorgeous. Usually, I would shy away from a sort of “one visual themed” soiree but using paper cranes not only has a beautiful symbolism (symbolizing love, peace, longevity and patience; cranes also mate for life) but you can do so much with them! The garlands hanging down are my absolute favorite.

Also, gotta love the letterpress printed invites!

I know there wasn’t a “Feliz Friday” last Friday — I was in my cousin’s wedding this weekend so it’s been busy busy with me. So how about a Feliz Monday? This store in Japan makes me happy:
What a wonderful, beautiful design of the paper-textured walls. Such a simple idea but so intricate. I just want to run my fingers across it.

This is a fun idea…Vintage Vicious Chic uses pages from an old dictionary and crafts them into envelopes. Gets me thinking of other materials like that to make envelopes…hmmm.
