Feliz Friday

Anyone traveling to a weekend house? I think I found my dream weekend house…well, treehouse (found here):
I love treehouses — I always fast-forwarded to the part in the Swiss Family Robinson film was when Mr. Robinson was showing Mrs. Robinson their new tree home with all its gadgets and trapdoors.
My friend and I were able to stay in a very modest treehouse in Turkey last year where I got a little taste of treehouse delight:

Fall Fashion

Is it that time already? Well, it dipped below 80 degrees F yesterday here … which hasn’t happened since like May. Kids are going back to school, it’s almost September…I’m getting a little excited for Fall.
So what’s in this season? Well, as usual, I’m behind and just starting to check things out. I do love Dear Creature‘s new collection:
Seeing a lot of plaid and sailor stripes. And those shoes… those T-strap shoes. I want please.
Just looked at the forecast though — back into the 90′s next week. Oh well… I guess I’ll have to be patient.

Wool-felted planters

I’m feelin’ these wool-felted “SoftBowls” by Mio Culture. They’re produced using less than one tenth of the energy needed to create their ceramic counterparts and they look so fun! Now can they come in a blue?
